About Miltec

Custom polymer engineering and manufacturing since 1981

Milwaukee Polymer Technologies (Miltec) has spent over four decades engineering and manufacturing plastisol, urethane, and epoxy solutions for customers who need more than a catalog product.

Our story

Miltec was established in 1981 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, where our headquarters and manufacturing operations remain today. What started as a custom polymer compounder has grown into a full-service formulator and manufacturer, but the core of the business hasn’t changed: customers come to us with an application a standard product can’t solve, and we develop a plastisol, urethane, or epoxy system that can.

Over four decades, that work has taken us across filtration, specialty adhesives, flexible and rigid foam, protective coatings, and custom molded goods — with capabilities that run from a pilot batch validating a new formulation to full production scale-up and toll manufacturing capacity for customers who need it.

We think of ourselves less as a vendor and more as a technical resource: a long-term partner in the room when a customer is developing a proprietary product, not just a supplier filling a purchase order.

Why manufacturers work with Miltec

In-house lab and quality control

Formulation development, testing, and quality control all happen under one roof, so a new compound moves from idea to validated production without leaving our building.

Batch traceability

Every batch is tracked through production, giving customers the documentation and consistency demanding, regulated applications require.

U.S. manufacturing

All production takes place at our Oak Creek, Wisconsin facility, keeping formulation, manufacturing, and quality control close together and close to our customers.

Where we work

6870 S. 10th St., Oak Creek, Wisconsin 53154 — serving customers across North America and internationally in filtration, adhesive, foam, coating, and moldable applications.
